Inner Circle Member Marty Steadman filed this update after visiting with Tom Poster recently:
“I spent about an hour with Tom Poster and spoke to Helen Poster on the phone from the lobby desk to their apartment in Dominican Village, an assisted living complex in Amityville (Suffolk County). Both were in good spirits and reasonably good health. They love their assisted living home, with all its activities.  Tom worked for the Associated Press and later went into State Government for 10 years.  He and Helen edited and published the Polish-American World for 51 years.
“For some of the younger members, Tom has about 56 or 57 years with The Inner Circle, [he became a member in 1959]and he was a superstar on stage.   He was at his best when the male-only members dressed up as women in politics and government.   Tom played Bella Abzug (Congress)and Mary Ann Krupsak (Lieutenant Governor) and Doctor Ruth (TV adviser)  and he was nothing short of hilarious every time.
“Tommy was often assigned to Albany for the Legislative Sessions, and he also performed for the Legislative Correspondents Association charity show for years.”
